These have multipoint connectivity that works pretty well to operate Bluetooth from two devices. Best implementation I've used.
A little loose and fall off if I don't move them forward when I bench. This also means they're relaxed and light when sitting upright.
People talk about broken hinges... I've seen no hint of it yet.

Apple does not fold, and can be pretty hot to wear.
Sony has snap issues it break on connector, but i did not had this issue personally.

Most of the time the people who do not like these XM, any Bose around ear, Airpods Max is because of the clamping, the weight, the feeling of vacuum and suction.
Those same people prefer in ear buds which for many Airpods Pro 2 is the king just because they use multiple Apple products and even in 2025 all major manufacturers are still having issues (just ask the people who bought the Bose QC Ultras how their connectivity to a few devices is)
That doesnt even factor in the people who wear glasses, for those many of the headphones with a stronger clamping force will simply not work unless they are wearing glasses with frames thinner then those worn by Benjamin Franklin
That being said - this model is a lemon and the Bose alternatives are not much better. Apple's is good but old and has serious flaws as well
