for those wondering, i tried the code on the Premium Plus (their limited ad subscription) and it changed it to regular premium so no discount.
Came to say the same -- just to make it clear in case anyone doesn't read the quote you included -- PEACOCK WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO PAY THE MONTHLY FEE TO UPGRADE TO NO-ADS ANY LONGER, SO ONLY BUY THIS DEAL IF YOU ARE OK WITH THE ADS - YOU CAN NO LONGER USE ANY OF THE "AD-INCLUDED" (BASE PLAN) DEALS TO UPGRADE TO AD FREE TIER AS THEY ARE NOW BEING TREATED AS COMPLETELY SEPARATE PLANS (RATHER THAN A BASE PLAN + AD-FREE ADD ON)
Peacock will give us al the deals under the sun for its ad-supproted tier but probably has it hardcoded not to give any for the ad-free tier

I'm giving it a go as well! 😀
Just got an email today saying I got my $7.99 back from Chase! So this was essentially $18 for 12 months. 🥳

I do not understand the willingness of people to pay to watch commercials either way. One could cost a million and the other 1 cent. I'm sure that philosophy is over a lot of people's heads. Oh, and cancel your parents cable if you love them.
The only thing they have going for them is if you watch WWE PPV events.
