Yes. It produces 60000 BTU and is priced lower than the Walmart version ($297) that produces 38000 BTU. I have the Walmart version and it is sufficient for most things I cook (smash burgers, hibachi, crunch wraps, fajitas, etc), but that extra heat would help a ton with getting a good sear.

The hardtop is $50. It's also not the good version that has a hinge.

How's this compare to the Costco one? Think that one will go on close out anytime soon?

This is not omnivore and has 60000 BTU vs Costco which is omnivore hinged hood and 36000 BTU. To me Tractor S is selling older model

Having been in the market recently (last couple of months), yes, this is a good grill and a good deal on it.

I just purchased my first home. First order of business is to adopt a pet and buy a grill. I'm still hesitant about which one to buy. I'll be learning to BBQ lol

I posted this deal a couple of years ago from TS. I regret buying it because I spent another $150 on an aftermarket hinged cover and would have been better off waiting on a deal for one with a hinged cover.

So people have claimed that there is a lower BTU version made for Walmart, is that not just the newer version that has the "omnivore" griddle plate that is supposed to require less BTU?

So for a 36" it seems the main choices are:

Model 2310 - $397 at Walmart - 38,000 BTU "omnivore" requires less BTU, and has full hinged hood.

Or this model 1866 - 60K BTU w/o full hinged $280 - appears to be discontinued from Blackstone but still plenty of stock at retailers.
