I was hesitant about the tag price since this reel is not sealed and I exclusively fish the surf. Now at this price, got to try it. Bought a 4000.
These are much smoother and offer more drag per size

The BG isn't sealed, might as well take the extra drag for less than the BG. I use the 4K for snook and tarpoon.
