Have this. Holy moly the screen is good but I've had serious sound issues via hdmi and wifi. I would not buy again because of it.

Best "Best Upper Mid-Range TV For Watching Movies" per Rtings. Just got this deal a couple weeks ago at best buy, but wasn't available for a grand anywhere else then.

Can confirm it looks good in a well lit room. Did a lot of research and price for value, this is about as good as it gets for a new TV. Discount likely cuz new models are coming out, from what I read

Great deal on the best rated TV on RTINGS. Meanwhile, it's still $1200 on Samsung:

Annoying. Still $1080 even with EPP.

I'm waiting for the 990D and this to go down one more price notch, 990D < $800 and S90D < $1000, then I'll buy 2 990Ds and the S90D.

Can't fit a 65" where I want to put it in our den, unfortunately (we have a giant built-in from prior owners). Even a 55" is a stretch and the wife will probably still give me grief over its size.

My current OLED has terrible burn in. I just learned that the Best Buy 5 yr protection purchase covers burn in. I never buy protection plans, but it might be worth it to cover this issue.

Does it get bright enough? We were considering the Hisense u8n because we like bright pictures. I know this is from a few years ago, but we have an LG CX OLED and it felt dim compared to a conventional LED TV.
