Except for the weight, isnt this a better deal in all aspects? https://slickdeals.net/f/18312988-hp-omnibook-7-flip-2-in-1-ai-laptop-16-3k-oled-intel-ultra-7-258v-32gb-ram-1000-15-s-h

Far better merchant, Newegg terrible company doesn't not stand and honor price rebates and shipping on time, returns on some items, etc.

Costco is night and day with credit card warranty too.

ICYMI, I recently had the worst computer experience of my life by far, with Asus, their "Warranty". And it's NOT Just Me....

This is the one I bought - same as this post's:

They will do anything to invalidate your warranty.

Pretty satisfied on my end. At one point there was a BIOS update [reddit.com] that gave some people trouble, but I was lucky and experienced no issues.

It was down to $1000 late last year at Microcenter, but the future isn't looking too bright for prices

Edit: Or actually, I guess mine was the 16.

I was looking for a high-spec CPU, 32gb memory, and under 3.5lb product, so I bought it

For the price, this is a pretty good deal, normal price being $1300.

I don't care for 16:9 screen version compared to the 16:10 screen version they have, but unfortunately they don't make a 32 Gig AMD chip version with that larger screen for some reason. There's an Intel one with 32 gigs of memory and 16:10 so I went with that one for my work PC. On paper it was the best price and weight and specs I could find. I'm hoping it doesn't have any issues that require warranty service.
