Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Was able to get it for $940.91 after tax at HD buy using the AAFES portal and buying an additional appliance. Needed a gas range so was able to pair the Bosch dishwasher with the KitchenAid slide is gas range they have on sale for $1898. After buy more save more discount KitchenAid range was $1,595.92 no tax. The funny part was when I tried to add an over the range microwave that was part of the buy more save more deal it raised the price on the dishwasher and range. No matter which brand or microwave I tried. Figured I'd just buy that separate. Oh delivery on the Bosch dishwasher is backordered until July 4 which we were fine with.
Needs to have access to WiFi to function properly! Nope!!!
Yes and no. I was told by a sales representative that if you want the cleaning arm to only spin in one zone, like the back corner, then yes. Otherwise, it will operate in all zones.
Their top recommendation is a Miele. However, I wouldn't get that because it is very expensive, and they have had a long term issue with the racks rusting. It is several hundred dollars to fix.
I went with their runner up, which is a Maytag mdb8959skz. It is much cheaper, cleans amazing, and even dries better than the Miele. I haven't found any negatives that anyone points out. I researched dishwashers for countless hours before purchasing one. I have been using it for several months, now, and have no complaints.
It also doesn't require wifi to do delay washes, which is incredibly stupid, like the Bosch does, now.
Wirecutter doesn't recommend Bosch, anymore. Sounds like Bosch started cheaping out on models in the last few years.
Usually its not best to make decision based on one opinion. Find out exactly what they "cheaped" out on and then verify with other sources if thats the case.
Many sources have secondary gain to recommend one particular brand over another. Just look at the US government from the federal government to state Attorney Generals, fully corrupt in plain sight accepting bribes. Do we really expect companies to adhere to ethics?

It wasn't based off one source. Like I said, I researched for many, many hours. Reviews for Bosch are not what they used to be.
The requiring wifi thing, for multiple different things, may be the dumbest thing Bosch has implemented. It's creating an extra point of failure. Just make it a delay button, like it has always been in the past.
Yes, like when the media had a lot to gain by ignoring and acting like their supreme leader didn't have any mental problems, hoping to keep pushing their agenda for another term. Everyone with a brain saw the issue for years.
