Looks like it compares very favorably to the u7n, which is a highly regarded mid range set.

Many people will say that there are better performing TVs at similar prices or (TCL and Hisense) but this price is a bargain for Panasonic TV. Performance is decent and in some aspects may exceed the avg mid tier TVs, this is an excellent TV choice for that price.

"The Hisense U7N is better than the Panasonic W95A overall. The Hisense has better contrast and HDR brightness, displaying deeper blacks in a dark room and brighter highlights. The Hisense also overcomes more glare in a bright room due to its superior reflection handling, is the more accurate TV in both SDR and HDR, and displays clearer motion due to its faster response time. However, the Panasonic displays slightly more vibrant colors and does a better job of upscaling low-resolution content. Sadly, you can't use VRR and local dimming on the Panasonic simultaneously."

Wrong company lol, youre thinking of Sharp & Hisense, but Sharp also bought themselves back from Hisense. Panasonic has always been independent.

How does the 65" compare to the LG 75" Class - UT8000 Series - 4K UHD LED LCD TV from costco?
I bought this LG from Costco a week ago and watching the fast motion scenes make me dizzy

Panasonic outsources their production to Chinese manufacturers. They just license their name to move the product

Do not think of they made their own plasma (actual manufacturing under panasonic rood), those were the glory days

W95a has black crush issue. Not a good tv for dark scenes. And for gaming it can't do VRR and local dimming at the same time.
