I bought an open box cx from bb few years back. It looked brand new. Almost no hour on it. I asked the rep to let me plug it in and check the hours at the store. It's still rock solid!

Never but used/open box tv online as the return process is a hassle if you get a dud. Brick and mortar if you must.

Pay the extra money on new oled. Not worth the hassle with a tv this large

My refurbished C1 77" is doing fine 3 years later. I picked up a C3 55" last year and it's doing fine as well. MC has been good to me

Anyone have experience with micro center oled and their warranty?

I have no issue with refurb in most cases, but a unit this size would be a big hassle to bring home, test and bring back.

Idk. I paid over a thousand more for my brand new c4. I'd still like an extra $1k to make sure my tv is good and with an extra warranty, who cares. They can replace it. Value for time. If you can make $400/hr then this isnt worth your time in case of an issue. But if you can at worst case spare two hours for a tech to come and swap it for a new one then it is worth the savings imho.

Same. Got a refurbished 77" C1 from MC when $2k was a great deal. I still don't even want to upgrade it because it's so pretty.
