I nabbed the msi for 600 on Facebook marketplace. It's amazing. There's probably not much difference but you can always check rtngs for a deep dive

Just got the LG myself thru LGs work partner program for about $80 less than this deal. But I love it. Easy to switch between the 4k and FHD modes. When monitor goes to sleep, does a self "screen cleaning" to prevent OLED burn in which I thought was pretty neat. Built in speakers are surprisingly loud too. Haven't tried the MSI myself but thought against it when I saw the OLED care system for it force restarted the monitor.

all the 32" qd-oled panels are the same. each manufacturer will put their own bells and whistles on it and charge more. However, I would avoid Asus because their QA sucks and their RMA service sucks even more.

Is this the kind of monitor that can replace a triple 1440p monitor setup? I'm not going to lie, I'm getting pretty sick of the triple monitor setup and would love to minimize a little, without losing (too much) productivity and real estate. I love how Windows 11 now has built functionality for segmenting your screen, so I'm began to wonder if one, large 4K monitor can serve well versus multiple monitor setups.
Im sure others have wondered the same. Curious as to you all's thoughts.

My opinion - I've found that windows just likes to work better with a single monitor, for me it doesn't handle multiple desktops properly at all and is very annoying to me... if I was stuck working in windows only I'd go the way you're thinking to simplify the triple monitor setup -- I've tried that before in the past and it is annoying as hell.

To your question about that single 4k replacing the 3 1440p monitors - it won't be a 1:1 replacement since you'd lose some real estate, but having the single monitor will make it so you can have multiple desktops and they would work properly out of the box (for the most part, full screen games will still stomp on that, unless things have changed recently or you can just use a windowed full screen). You might also find you want something larger than this 31.5" screen but that would be subjective and up to you at that point.

I have the MSI you're talking about and loving it. I first bought a 27" WOLED panel and one thing I did not like about it was the text clarity, but that was a cheaper monitor.
