They are made of different materials.
The one in OP's post is made from something called "Tritan Renew copolyester"
The one in your link is made from Polyethylene.

The one you linked is less rigid, lighter and retains smells more so than the linked one.

I got all of them last sale and they are my favorite bottles now especially the narrow neck ones.

The 48oz "tall boy" is on sale but the reviews are horrible that they seem to shatter more than other Nalgene. My son wants a couple for backpacking but that isn't a good plan if your water bottle breaks easily.

In contrast I have other Nalgenes that are 20 years old and been through hell and they are fine. Even some newer ones with same durability.

I have 48oz and it's been sturdy through the years. It is a bit bulky tho.
