will easily handle lug nuts. lug nuts usually require around 100 lb ft of torque. this is advertised at 1800 lb ft but more likely produces around half that after accounting for losses through an extension and socket. still probably around 900 lb ft of torque which is way more than needed to break free lug nuts.

On paper, this little guy has about 150 ft-lbs, but rarely does a power tool live up to its full advertised spec. Combined with the losses of the 1/4" hex to socket adapter, you might be able to remove a lug nut that has been freshly installed and torqued to spec but I wouldn't count on it being successful all the time. An impact wrench is a much better tool choice for working on cars than an impact driver.

The specs stated 1,850 in/lbs = 154 ft/lbs.

I have this tool, it is not meant to take lug nuts off, or really anything off. Its main function is driving in screws.
It very loud and drives slow. I'd look at another brand like dewalt or milwaukee for an impact driver.

I have this Ridgid brushless subcompact and it's smaller, quieter, and lighter than my Ryobi brushless 18v, so it use it most of the time. I think the heavier larger Ryobi brushless 18v might be a little stronger, but this drives everything I've thrown at it including 4 inch wood screws and lag bolts without any issues. I wouldn't use either of them for removing lug nuts. Better to use a 1/2 impact for that.
