That was the Macross saga. This one includes the Masters and the New Generation which makes it the complete series. It has also has the Sentienals too. Granted they were $5 each so $15 for the whole series.

In my opinion, the original Japanese series are better than the Robotech series (which are American edits of the original Japanese series).

The original Japanese series are: (1) Super Dimension Fortress Macross (1982), (2) Genesis Climber MOSPEADA (1983 to 1984), & (3) Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross (1984). These 3 series actually exist in separate universes. They all involve super advance transforming robots piloted by humans against belligerent outer-space aliens, but their stories are NOT connected. The American edits connected the stories of these 3 series, but (in my opinion) the story connections are sort of stupid.

Wrong. Read the description, it was $5 for Macross Saga. $5 for Robotech Masters. $5 for New Generation. $15 for the complete series.

I watched these on VHS last century. It was amazing! An animated show that had an incredible story. I wish they had a spin off with Max. Dude was the best pilot ever.
