This is labeled as an action figure, model kits you have to put together piece by piece and paint the details. Action figures are toys and will be more durable for playing around with, models are generally just for display after building it.

Most Gundam's would be a model of different grade levels Entry Grade -Perfect grade. These are models that require no glueing. Nippers are used & depending on the grade level, the difficulty to assemble. The end result is a detailed & articulated action figure that can be customized & painted. No paint is required the plastics are colored, however painting & what's referred to as panel lining can make one POP! These are also called 'Gunpla' I'm a big fan!!

For those that may care, Amazon does not ship gunpla inside of a box, or even a bubble envelope. They use the super thin, unpadded plastic ones, that provide literally no protection, so expect your kit's box to arrive smooshed.

That's a YMMV. I have ordered gunpla sold by Amazon.com that came both farked up and carefully packaged.

My Deathscythe figure from this line came full retail. So did my metal Spirits Wing 0 that I bought from Amazon used knowing I was rolling the dice.

I haven't experienced this personally. They use that paper wrapping.

I used to buy a lot gunplas but now I don't have time for them. Gundam Universe are perfect for people like me. They are pretty playable and I don't need to worry if my daughters or nephews breaking them up. For 2x the price you could also try Robot Spirits - they are smaller but higher quality.
