Was just thinking this… have a Ryzen 5 5600x I think from early 2021 and not sure about mobo support or whether something like this is worth the gain when paired w a 3070

My Noctua NH-U12S with the second fan was NOT enough to keep it below 90C. With this part binned slightly lower it might not be as tough to cool. I picked up a Thermalright Frozen Notte 360mm AIO and it's better. Highest I've seen is 86C with a floor fan speed of 45% and ramping up to 100% at 75C. Usually after gaming I'll check coretemp max temp and it's usually around 72C. I have it in an NZXT H6 Flow with every fan spot populated.
Chip gets hot doing single-threaded stuff mostly. During all-core workloads it it limited to the 145W socket limit but each core at that point is 3.6-4.2Ghz.
