Wow, this deal was $99 and $79 with the free tool not that long ago. I can definitely recommend the full-size reciprocating saw, got that with the $99 deal and it is a winner for around the house, not as good as my Milwaukee Fuel Sawzall and Hackzall, but surprised me when my Fuels were at work and needed it. The higher torque 3/8 ratchet is also handy to have, returned my overpriced and hyped Milwaukee M12 Fuel 3/8.

Not to talk bad about Milwaukee, 75% of my cordless tools are Milwaukee, but everything they make isn't the best.

I wonder if this deal will revert back to $99 come Memorial day weekend?

Yeah what a Slick deal back during the Holidays. I snagged two of these for $79.00 each. Selected the Jig Saw and 3/8 angled impact for the free tools.
BTW the Kobalt tool boxes here are very heavy and well made.

This is Lowes response to HD Ryobi Days. Unless you are already in this battery platform, Ryobi has a much better overall selection of different tools (some worthless, some surprisingly great).

Anybody know if you buy and then return the tool or battery if the discount still sticks? I noticed when you add to cart it discounts each item. Did not know if the buy and return or buy and cancel before pickup still works these days or not.

Is it? I'd agree if it was actually "shady". Never heard of the Milwaukee deals that are literally designed that way? It's an overall discount given off each item, you don't actually get something "free".

This isn't set up like the Home Depot deals, this is a buy one get one free. If enough people try this "deal" it'll go away. This would be stealing to return the paid item and try to keep the free item. If that isn't shady... what is?
