I have the mouse, people make too much of a big deal about the charging. It my experience it's rarely been an issue. The real talking point is how blah the entire design was. There's nothing special about it other than the high price

Does anyone really really like this mouse above the countless others on the market? I have Macs and love the experience but I despise this mouse. Is it just purely for aesthetics? Am I missing something? I just put mine away and bought Logitech ones.

Agreed. Magic Mouse is way too flat and not ergonomic at all. My Logi MX Master 3S works perfectly with my Mac Mini (and Windows laptop) and feels much more comfortable in-hand.

The only magic in this mouse is how fanboys will actually purchase a ergonomically-void piece of smooth garbage that you can't even charge and use at the same time..and for $70 at that.

I don't get the hate, it's my favorite mouse. OTHER than the stupid charging on the bottom, it's responsive and works great for me on all 3 computers I use it on!

I use it for the multi-touch gestures.
Especially the 2-finger swipe between full screen apps and the 1-finger swipe to side scroll.

Charging is only a pain if you let the battery die (and can't use it while it's charging).
Not a deal breaker.
