Picked these up the last time they were this price, absolutely love them for my NPR fix on the morning walk. The open design lets you be aware of traffic around you. Bump the added bass selection in the app for and even better experience. I like them a lot better than the wired in ear set I was using, and the charging case easily keeps them charged for a week or longer.

Grabbed a pair of these last time, they're great for most situations where you're not somewhere extremely loud i.e. on the subway in nyc. if you get them adjusted right you can forget they're there, and they don't pop out if you chew gum with them. Wife stole my pair, need another, repd!

I got these last time they were on sale. I wasn't initially impressed with the sound quality out of the box but was able to adjust the levels with the anker app and that made a huge difference.

I love these, finally a pair of earbuds that I can wear. I can't stand anything that actually goes inside my ear. That said they aren't ideal for music, but they are great for audiobooks and podcasts when I'm walking and working. I can wear them for about 4 hours before I start feeling them and feeling the need to give my ears a rest.

Open Ear is my new thing. They suit me well in many situations. I've ordered a pair.

Can anyone recommend the best set for music quality ( balanced across genres with maybe an emphasis on guitar based rock, and understanding the limitations of the format)? TIA.

Another vote for these, I got them last time for a couple bucks more and love em. Open ear is what I was looking for- the sound is good, I can wear them at work and hear people if they walk in, they're comfortable and don't tire my ears. Wireless charging would have been a plus, but I know you can't have everything in this price range. As others have said, they don't sound great out of the box- update them, then pick the EQ setting that works best for you or make your own. Rock and R&B both sound good to me for most things. Two thumbs up!

I have the baseus mc1 and was happy with them, however that changed this weekend. One of the buds was knocked off my ear by accident and it hit the cement floor. After blowing it off and rewatching to my ear the sound began to rattle in that bud. That led me to believe that they will not hold up long if they can't hold up to a drop test. Will consider these instead.

I have no experience on open ears headphone. I am using airpods and they makes my ears uncomfortable especially on long flight. I am looking for somethings else to replace them.
My only concern, are they going to be sound-leak heavily and disturbing the passenger next to me?

no sound leak, but the cabin is too loud to listen to open-ear. I prefer in-ear buds with ANC for flights, check out the anker x20.

Would have bought if I didn't already have another. This form factor is a great alternative for those with ear conditions that can't use regular earbuds/earphones.

These have been a revelation for me since I have really narrow ear canals, and in-ear headphones are either painful or constantly falling out. The ear loop might take a little getting used to if you wear glasses, but before long I forgot I was wearing them. Great for podcasts, audiobooks, and even music if you're not picky. My only complaint with this model is they are a bit on the bulky side, particularly if you have small ears.

I got the older v30i a few weeks ago for a few dollars more and love them. Using them full time over my airpod pros now. I'm an "open ear" convert for sure - except for mowing the lawn/noisy environments.

I compared the v30i and v20i and ultimately chose the 30 for reasons I don't recall offhand. There are some review comparison videos on YT. I think fit/comfort was one of them. V20 has a clicky adjustable hinge that two reviewers said made it less comfortable for long wear versus the 30. 30 fits me great.

I use these to sleep in because in-ear earbuds fall out when I am laying down or moving around. These are secure and comfortable to wear for a long time.
