This one is a microSD card. The one you're linking is an SD card; even in the description pasted here it says "Full size".
So, different form factor.

I want them to release a USB C version of the reader so I can backup my phone or copy dashcam footage to my phone without needing an OTG cable

The official Samsung website [samsung.com] offers the card for $14.24 if purchased through the AAA Samsung Discount Portal [aaa.com] (AAA membership required).

On my Samsung account, I can purchase two 128GB cards for around $30 total, including tax and shipping. I haven't decided whether to go through with it yet though...

You should wait for a better deal.

My record shows that I bought the 256GB version for $20 in Feb. Even then, I don't think it is a great deal.
