Price just dropped today to $399.99. Good price for 65" 144Hz native refresh rate and 5 year warranty. I've had this TV for a few days and I'm loving it so far. It gets really bright and it has vivid colors.

Non members can still purchase the TV for an extra 5% surcharge.

This TV also qualifies for Costco Direct Savings ($150 discount if you buy 2, $300 discount if you buy 3, etc).

There's also an existing FP Slickdeal on the 55" version for $299.99 here

Good price for the 144hz, but apparently this is just a rebadged Q6 with refresh rate upgrade. Lots of reddit threads on how subpar panel quality and brightness is. For the price, not bad tho

Isn't it also missing full ray, local dimming or something?

I picked up the Hisense QD6 43" for $149 yesterday, comparing it side by side to this in store the QD6 looked better (brighter/better colors). I was hopeful this was a Costco Q7, but after seeing specs and seeing in person I'm sure it's just a rebadged Q6 which is meh. I'd spend the extra $100 for a Q7 instead.

It's not a rebadged Q6 - rebadged means it's the same thing with a different name. The Q77 has a higher refresh rate (144 Hz vs 60 Hz) which is a big deal if you're a gamer. The Q6 also only has 3 HDMI ports and this one has 4. Different specs, different ports, I'm not sure what else is different but doesn't seem rebadged to me. Seems like a different model. If anything, the Q77 is closer to the Q7 than the Q6. Only thing missing that I can tell is FALD (Full Array Local Dimming). Whether the improved contrast ratio you get from that is worth $100 is debatable. The Q77 actually has a higher refresh rate than the Q7 too, but not by much.

You add in the free 5 year warranty, the generous 90 day return policy from Costco, and this seems like a great value. It's a budget TV so you're not gonna get Mini LED or OLED screens at this price point.

The Q6 does 120hz at 1080P and 1440P. Curious if anyone has tested this one to see if it's actually 144hz@4k. Not rebadged, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was just a modified/improved Q6 panel. They had it side by side with the S5 which I would say looked the same in store, the Q7 is a much nicer looking/brighter TV, not just the local dimming.

This model definitely does 120Hz @ 4K which I have tested. I don't have any devices capable of outputting 144 Hz to test that functionality but I don't see any reason to believe that it wouldn't. HDMI ports 1 and 2 literally say "4K / 144Hz" on them.

Seems to be a decent model. How low a TCL q7 series can go for comparison?

Costco employee on the Reddit form about this TV said they finally got training on it and apparently it does have full array dimming. Can't confirm or deny just what I read.

Went to the local store to check out this TV. For my eyes, the demo video looked very vivid, the color contrast is amazing too. I'd say it's a good deal with 5 year warranty

You actually read wrong. I read it and they said it had local dimming algorithms but could not confirm if it was full array local dimming. I'm pretty confident it is not. Especially at this price.

Debating if I should pull the trigger on this or QM7. The tv looked decent at Costco, anyone have experience with Costco's 5 year warranty? Reading on Reddit, looks like more miss then hit on getting claims done.
