can't read the display at all outdoors. never seems to have finished charging, just keeps flashing. was missing parts too. will not top off a few psi, tire must be emptied to get the target psi. come to think of it this is a pos, there's a reason they're marked down so much. back away slowly…
Did you remove the protective sticker from the screen? If not, it can be really hard to see outdoors in bright sunlight. As for the PSI, it's been excellent for me—it's even helped out a few buddies on one of our group rides. Luckily, I haven't needed it for myself yet, but when I tested it on my bike using a manual pump with a PSI gauge, it was spot on.
It's a difference of form factor. OP's item is more portable which is ideal for cyclists / motorcycle riders that want something small to pocket. The one you linked fits better in a small backpack or in a car's glove box.

I have this and it's been great! The small compact size makes it easy and convenient to carry. I haven't maxed out on the rated psi, but it has pumped up my tires to my target pressures without issue. I can't speak to its longevity as I have owned it for only a few months. I can read the display fine.
