I usually don't criticize any insight... But coming on a headphone deal to say you prefer speakers is bizarre

Great price for a nice set of headphones. You will need a dac/amp to power them.

This is by far the best price I have ever seen on these. I use mine daily and am currently wearing them. They will show you things you didn't realize were in the track. And yes, you will need an amp to drive these. Not due to their resistance but due to the power needed to be loud in general.

Using these for 3 years now. Worth every cent. Had to replace the headband as it is rather fragile.

If you see people say a phone can power them, don't believe them.

just thought of buying built in dac amp stereo speaker like aura onta 4 don't remember the name. I prefer speakers than headphones for comfort.

As a fellow 6xx owner I was curious also. Imo it appears to be a side grade.

Bought this last time and it's a very fun pair of headphones. I wanted something with a wide soundstage like my Sennheiser 598 but tighter/cleaner. It's def worth it at this price! I power it with the Qudelix-5k bluetooth dac/amp and it's adequate

I prefer to read my music for speed's sake versus headphones.

(that being said I've been looking at these for a while and I really don't need them at all in any way whatsoever but... $150 man....)

This is such a good deal on high quality headphones. Much better than the 598 that got me into open back headphones. Lots of details without being bright, so they work well without revealing less than optimal sources. They sound very nice when properly powered by a headphone amp. Currently listening to mine as I type this comment.

It depends on how loud you want the music. You can technically drive them from just about any phone. You will likely lose detail in the music and volume, but they are usable in quiet settings without a separate amp.
I'm not saying people should run them without an amp, just that it is possible to.
