I heard that as well. So I was pleasantly surprised it worked for my Lenovo Legion Tower without issues as a UPS.
I do the same. I trust mine to run my security and Wi-Fi. No issues so far and I like that I can monitor it remotely w the app (although don't rely on the app working all the time.) my only caveat is if the power goes out and you use up all the battery, shutting off the inverter, then the inverter does not power back on when power is restored. I get around this by plugging in an auto transfer switch. I bought a nicer one (xantrex brand) because I wanted 100% reliability but a cheaper or different one would work fine. Now if I drain the battery or it glitches, my system auto falls over to grid power or gets power when the grid is restored. I also have a solar panel connected to mine to extend battery time.
Ecoflow lets you register their ebay refurb warranties as if they were regularly purchased for a 5 year warranty, so the 2 year allstate warranty is unnecessary. Just do the online registration on their website and list ebay as where you got it from and include a picture of your ebay invoice.

Mostly power 5 cell phones, internet modem, a desktop computer, and a large fridge. I don't need a ups, as these can be shut down with no issue. But I'd like to be able to keep them running during a weather event. Possibly keep my equipment alive for 3-5 days.
yea, everything else is fine for 3-5 days except for the fridge. Even if you have your Delta 2 at 100% full at sunset, it will last whole 8 hours before next sunrise.

Might work with Delta 2 + extra battery (2000wh maximum) but Delta 2 max is a better alternative. Delta 2 max start at 2000wh and can be expanded to maximum of 6000wh

The price after applying the 20% discount code is $359, NOT $339. This needs to be updated to reflect the correct price

Did anyone get a wrong power cable? I did! The female side of the power cable has horizontal holes instead of the usual vertical. Must be a misplaced cable packed into mine. Reaching out to the seller. I suggest everyone who ordered to check theirs. I am referring to the ac power cable needed to charge the power station.

I ended up returning the delta 2 because of the slow switchover AND that it was extremely loud at ~200W load. Purchased the Delta 3 plus for $100 more and its dead silent at the same load, <10ms UPS switchover. Delta 3 also has so much more features as well.

What were the issues?I have the River 2 256Wh and have found the capacity diminishing greatly over time. When it was new it would power my CPAP while camping all night with plenty of capacity remaining to charge everything back up. Camping this past weekend and it only lasted 4-5 hrs each night. Kind of bummed since its main job is to run my CPAP when there isn't power available.
about 5 hrs is what i would expect for a CPAP using a River 2 to be honest.

the only thing i can suggest is to see if you can try to recalibrate. run it down to 0%, then charge to 100%, do it 3x. and see if battery life improves

if not, file a warranty with EcoFlow. the river 2 has 5 yrs warranty (even the refurbs have 5 yrs)

We bought a brand new Delta 2 Max a few months ago, and it was dead on arrival. We sent it back and ended up buying a Jackery instead. Can't trust an Ecoflow to work like it should when the 1st one comes DOA.
Ecoflow is extremely hit or miss, and due to the random glitches and unreliability, I would never consider them for legitimate field power needs or emergency backup etc.

We actually deployed Goal Zero Yeti X line for our field power needs (they've been out since 2020, so they are tried and true at this point). The whole lithium ion vs lithium ion phosphate thing is overblown for consumer power stations......other components will break well before battery chemistry becomes a problem.

Jackery is another good one, it's what the US Forest Service uses.

Good advice. I did run it down to zero (it actually showed 2%) when I woken up to the CPAP being off, and then back to 100%. I believe I gained some capacity back, but only have one data point.

try and force it down to 0% on the display. you may need to use a low draw device to do this.... like a fan or something. then charge it back up to 100%

do this 3 or so times, maybe up to 5.
it should improve

I'll do that, thanks. Still kind of a bummer since it has only maybe ten cycles (from me) over the past year. It's really just for camping and power outages.
