Green usually works better in poor visibility situations like outdoors.
Also I imagine the quality is better with name brands, but YMMV

No, I got $40 green on sale from Amazon and works great…self leveling also. No tripod cause already had one

My issue is that there are about 500 knockoffs and i just want one that works. Ideally for much less than this bosch. Anyone have have recommendations for azn/ali ones?

Thanks. I read a bit about this brand Huepar that people seem to be pretty happy with. I will take a look at this one tho as well.

Edit: Ended up going with this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DRHWX...gToDp&th=1 got 2 for the price of 1 with a 50% coupon. Will try and sell one to sweeten the deal.
