Has only taken 3 maybe 4 years for 4TB NVME to drop below $200

Going to take a chance on the 4TB, I've been buying a lot of their stuff lately. They've basically replaced Anker/U-Green for me on other stuff and so far, no problems with their products.

I got an e7400 drive from amazon for $192 earlier this month. Haven't stressed it out but it did preform at the levels they say it does.
The O7000 seems to be similar. A little slower but TLC vs QLC (e7400). Both seem to have 2400tbw and some sorta pseudo SLC.
I'm in for one at $160.

Doesn't need one, but will probably perform better with one. As with all technology these days, runs as fast as it can until it has to throttle due to heat.
Also depends on usage.

Yes, these probably run hot, based on the track records of the previous models like the 5000, this has a maxiotech controller apparently instead of realtek, so who knows, but I wouldn't bet on it running cool.

A Chinese brand that has focused on computer peripherals for many years.
