I was hoping Sony would update the dongle that these ship with as they are highly prone to drops and disconnects that require the dongle to be fully reseated to correct and restore connection back to the earbuds. The issue is well known and the sound quality is not enough to put up with having to reseat your dongle every 20 minutes to a few hours of use before the dongle completely drops your connection. No issues on Portal though, since it has playstation link built in eliminating the need for the dongle.

While the price is good on these openbox models, one thing to consider is that these are most likely customer returns who have experienced the joys of disconnects from these trash USB dongles these things ship with.

I also wish you could buy a USB C version of the dongle as the Slim and Pro do not have USB A ports on the front of the playstation, not only do you have to deal with high temps of the rear of the playstaton heating that dongle up but you have to reach to the back of that sucker to reseat the dongle. You can adapt to USB-C but it doesn't really help with the disconnects, just an extra item you need to order for convenience of reseating (lol).

Bought the $120 airpods pros (3rd gen) that BB had open box in feb for $115 and they included no medium ear tips so had to buy some from aliexpress (that was before tariffs). I'm going to assume these will be missing whatever the previous owner had put on them which is most likely medium so you'll need to buy replacement ear tips on Amazon.
