You can turn on phone and set it up over wifi before activating if you want.
Before though, Tracfone-branded phones couldn't be used with other Verizon MVNOs (or Verizon itself) until they were unlocked.

(617) xxx-5027 so I can continue to use 1572 with added mins, text and data transferred from 5072. One rep. through the chat said it couldn't be done anymore. One kept saying the minutes couldn't be transfer alone. Asked further she said something about keeping the phone number 1572 will transfer to the physical phone ending in 5072, then I would use the phone ending in 5072 but the number will change to 1572.
I am so confused. Are we talking about the same thing? Is there a better way to tell them what I want to do?
