Can confirm this, was super hyped about these when they first came out. They are truly a pain in the ass if you want to just throw some buds in and go work in the yard. I spend a majority of the time reconnecting them. Needs a firmware update bad.

Would not recommend, someone likely returned them because of buzzing in one ear that Bose is unable to fix

The left earbud always seems to not charge nor connect to my phone. Have to settle to listening with only the right earbud. Hey Bose, please fix this common issue.

What noise cancelling earbuds should I go with? My Bose headphones are unbelievable. Best headphones I've ever owned, so it's interesting to hear that their earbuds are no good.

Bought these eBay refurbs, the ANC is vastly better than Airpod Pros, there are occasional sound glitches and I need to re-pair them on occasion, so don't expect Apple-like "they just work" connectivity, but still worth it for the ANC in a noisy gym. Complete isolation.

I have this QC Ultra and highly recommend for best ANC for travel/flights. I recommend this specific deal for the 2Y Allstate Warranty vs. buying directly from Bose (refurb or new w/ only 1Y).
I used to have 2 refurb sets of the QCII (one bought directly from Bose website w/ 1Y warranty and another from eBay w/ 2Y Allstate), both of them died slightly after the 1 year mark. I was able to get AllState to refund me for one of them and was SOL on the purchase from BOSE.
I use them for travel. And for this purpose, this is the best you can get. It might even be better than my Bose QuiteComfort Headphones. These are so good that after the QCIIs died, I bought the Ultra as replacements.
BTW, event though these are refurb, they look brand new.

Owned these, bought them brand new about a year ago. All the negative comments are true- they constantly disconnect and have connectivity syncing issues. Sometimes one earbud wouldn't turn on after being removed from the case too. But the dealbreaker for me was I bought them to be my low profile exercising headphones- but they kept falling out of my ears. Insanely frustrating. Its a shame because the NC was top tier, theyre comfy when they don't fall out, and the sound quality is incredible for earbuds.

Have had zero issues with my pair and previous iteration. You definitely need to reset them and update the firmware

You're the first person I've ever met to say any Bose fins failing. They literally let you customize the wing and bud to accommodate your ear. I've never had any Bose earbud with customizable fin size fall out; been using Bose products at the gym for over 15 years
