They need to make a mini Pro with same speakers, display, processor and build as the 11" Pro.

I think the CPU is a conscious choice for mini. Most consumers have it on the go, an iPhone CPU is better for battery consumption and still plenty of power. Putting a M2/3/4 into this would not justify.

I already have a 12.9 M1, 11 M2 (which replaced my 10.5 Pro). I got a price match from BB for the 512gb just because I can pay over 4 interest free via Paypal vs Costco's plan with Affirm that would incur a $30++ interest. This will be the first iPad that I bought without cellular. I'd probably won't open it till I figure out if I really need it or not Stick Out Tongue

I'm pretty certain I want to pick up a new iPad mini, but these discounted prices make me wonder if there's a new version coming out soon. But I wouldn't think so since this one was just released Oct 2024.

Unlikely, also this is not discounted everywhere just costco. If new version was coming out all retailer will start discounting.

Thanks. I ordered blue at Costco and was able to price match BB for space grey (slight preference for color).
Although costco has 90 days return policy for electronics and BB only 14 days so debating which one I should pick up.

Nearly at the bottom of the page, this should be stickied right at the top

People will tell you jelly scrolling doesnt matter / cant be noticed

Try it, it's laughably bad, i wouldnt pay $49 let alone $449 for any tablet with this type of screen issues

Surprised there hasnt been a successful class action (usually only way to get Apple to change parts) for using the same screen that Apple knew had issues from the last generation on this current generation

Do. Not. Buy. This.
