This game is getting a free update for Nintendo Switch 2, so it might be worth picking up, if you like this sort of puzzle box game.

Are the physical games getting free updates or only the digital downloads? I recall some saying with the Harry Potter Hogwarts game only the digital download was flagged for a free update for the switch 2.

Hogwarts Legacy was an exception, since they based the Switch 2 version on the other console version (PS5/Xbox) rather than as an update to the Switch version, which has severe limitations and was significantly scaled back.

"Switch 2 Edition" games are all based on their Switch 1 version. It's basically a patch to allow it to take advantage of the new hardware (higher resolution & frame rates) and add support for Switch 2 unique features, such as Game Share.

If you bought the digital edition you can get an upgrade for hogswart legacy for 10 just sign in and look up the switch 2 version

Apparently there's also a way to get the discount if you have a physical version of the Switch 1 game. There's a link within the game menus that will enable the discount on the eShop. You'll have to look up exactly how to do that.
