there's no rain fry on this tent, meaning when it's rainy, you get wet if you open up.

Not that kind of tent. This is really for minimal weight over anything. Comfort isn't really much of a factor here. The only comfort part here is that it's not a bivy and you're less likely to touch the sides when sleeping in it.

seems kinda ass tbh. No vestibule, almost 3 lbs, which is not "heavy" but it's not light either by standards of people who care about carry weight. Either pay a bit more for a proper ultralight tent, or just go cheaper and get something chunky but good price.
I'm biased to durston tents like this https://durstongear.com/products/...ackpacking, < 2 lbs, has vestibule, more horizontal space, cheaper.
Noting you'll need hiking poles to set up

I'm assuming it's not ultralight because it is designed to hold up to extreme weather so the fabric is heavier. Really a niche product for mountain climbers.
