Does not include OS either. So by the time you buy good memory and ssd, you probably won't save much if anything rather than buying it with memory, ssd, and OS.

Edit: On second thought, you could probably have higher quality parts for a similar price as the prebuilt system, if you are comfortable installing those parts. The trick is finding Windows 11 for cheap

So even the DDR5 64GB RAM option with 1 TB drive ($154 off of $769) doesn't come with Windows? Unless I'm missing or not seeing something obvious.

Windows IS included in the complete systems (that include memory and ssd). Windows IS NOT included on the barebones (no memory or ssd) systems.

You can buy an official Win11 volume license for about $20, hardly an extra cost.

It's 2025, just give Linux a try. You will likely be surprised.

Groupon always has windows cheap
Also check ETA Prime on YouTube to get windows for like 15 bucks or something like that.
I see $11.34 on Groupon

Not sure if I can link it here, but it's there.

It's $7 cheaper at Walmart

And fulfilled by Walmart (meaning can be returned in store) and claims it will arrive in 2-3d

Friends don't let friends buy cheap grey market windows keys. Look up massgrave activation on github, it's more legit than any of these resellers and free.
