5k Qi wireless are the worst. It loses a lot of energy in heat and won't even charge 3k mah phone fully. Did a few tests with an anker one with same specs. Save your money.. or use it wired for best charge or pass-through.

Code is not working for me, but it looks like a nice battery. I have a few Baseus chargers and batteries, and I'm happy with the brand.

The bank is probably not a full 5000mah, plus you're losing efficiency from it charging wirelessly.
Sweet, and? I could greater efficiency using a line-powered, corded landline, too, but that doesn't exactly give you as much flexibility and portability as one of these either.

Just FYI: I received one of the 5000mah and it doesn't increase the charge if you have music running and are surfing the web etc. It also made my iPhone very hot.

I just grabbed this one for $13: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D5D2T...title&th=1 . No idea if it's really any good, but reviews are alright, specs are similar to the one here, and who doesn't trust a brand name like Magzurnd? 😂
More capacity is always nice, but with something like this I'd rather it just be as compact as possible. My Oneplus 13 has a big battery that lasts a long time, so 5000mAh is the right size, and plenty to get me through times of need until I can get to a normal charger.
The link was broken but I found the one you were talking about. 10% of those reviews are 1-Star and 20% are 3-Star or less. Not sure I have much confidence in that product's longevity but best of luck

Heat is a major downside of wireless chargers that don't have built in fans or can be used in places that have plenty of airflow. the slow speeds are because this is only rated to wireless charge at 7.5W which is insanely slow. 10W wireless charging is slow as well and 15W wireless charging is considered "fast" by the major brands that utilize it (though there are plenty of other brands that have massive increases in wireless charging capacity for their devices but they are still not the norm).

In my experience with portable wireless chargers, the heat tends to be increased even more than standard wireless chargers during the exchange. I am not going to say I know the exact science behind it but increased heat byproduct is energy loss (the Achilles heal of wireless charging tech) and is, obviously, never desirable to have your device exposed to high temperatures. At first, I thought my portable wireless chargers were awesome until I realized that the convenience of portable wireless charging came with the reality that I was causing a battery bank to heat up while attached to my phone... that was also heating up. Ultimately, my personal decision was to stop using my portable wireless chargers unless I really needed it. I have a ton of different size/capacity/capability power banks (thanks a lot Slickdeals) that I've accumulated over the years and I just put a magsafe mount on a couple of them with a 6 inch charging cable I keep in them. It charges faster, has significantly less heat output, and honestly feels more secure to my phone with the rigidity of the cable at the bottom combined with the magnet.

I know, it's apples and oranges. The whole point of wireless chargers is the convenience of not needing cables. I love wireless charging. Convenience just couldn't outweigh the cons for me when it came to portable wireless charging.

Just got it, seems fine, worth the 13 bucks to me. It won't see a lot of use, and will mainly be a backup that's easy to carry at music festivals and whatnot. My criteria were 1. cheap, 2. compact, 3. charges via USB-C, and 4. works wirelessly with my Oneplus phone, and it checks those boxes. If it dies young, oh well, I'm out 13 bucks.

Much better to get a magnetic battery with a built in USBC cord and no wireless charging. Better efficiency, cheaper and faster charging. I like the Anker Zolo 10k and got it for $22ish I think. Been great.

Worth a shot. Vine reviews make up the majority so I'm dubious.

Looking at reddit this charger takes 4 hours to charge to full. The anker/iwalk qi2 is a lot better, but more expensive.
