Does the series end with a satisfying conclusion or did it get cancelled and leave viewers hanging?

season 4 eventually aired and it was good enough. without spoiling it did "wrap up" because they did know going into it that it was going to be the final season.

was it the best? eh...
but if you're a sucker for the whole "post-apocalyptic how is humanity surviving" stuff it was a solid watch.

All I ever wanted from this show was a character to sit on a chair, break wind, and say "I call that my Chairpiercer!" and I NEVER got it in four seasons.
