What does single vs double mean in options? So for a king bed, does that mean I need to get double packs?

As I was a warehouse manager in a mattress store for 3 years, I think I help these frames make sense.

When 2 frames, each is 1/2 of the overall width of the mattress approximately. Example: King mattress is usually 76" x 80", so the 2 frames would be 38" x 80" each.

Mattress Sizes:
Twin (1 frame) = 38" x 74"
Twin XL (1 frame) = 38" x 80" (1/2 a king)
Full (1 frame) = 54" x 74"
Queen (2 frames) = 60" x 80"
King (2 frames) = 76" x 80"
California King (2 frames) = 72" x 84"

The frames will likely be a few inches smaller than the mattress size both dimensions to help reduce the chance of you hitting your shins on the frame.

Hope this helps!
