Good price, great headphones for however long they last. They were my go to for a year and a half until they started buzzing at certain frequencies. Can't say I would recommend them unless you are ok with going through warranty/return process, though they are incredible and are probably the clearest sounding headphones I've used under $500.

I have not, but I read some first hand accounts since this batch of refurbs went up. It's very close, with some conflicting judgements about which is more "neutral." They are more alike than different when compared even to other Hifiman cans.
Didn't find much info on how different the stealth version is.
I think given the small price difference here, most would go for the Ananda, if only because a slight majority of users prefers the headband style for longer sessions (but if course this depends on your head and listening habits).

Favorite headphone of all time. Have had mine for about 4-5 years without a single problem. I originally A/B this to the Arya and chose the Ananda because music sounds fun and energetic in comparison. I've tried MANY headphones and I'm wearing these right now. Tonality is perfect.

If you don't have edition xs, buy. If you have edition xs, no point upgrading

Can I use this as a headset for my Xbox? Will the controller power it?

These need a proper headphone amp.

I had both these and the XS on demo before I returned the Ananda and kept the XS. It's such a minor minor difference, you would probably get it wrong 75% of the time in a blind A/B test, aside from the headband. For what it's worth, I like the headband on the Ananda better, and went with a 3D printed strap on the XS to give a similar feel.

The quality is terrible, I bought one used it moderately and the right driver died in about a year, just outside manufacturer's warranty. Upon a quick search on Amazon, I realized many others had similar issue with the right driver.

I think these are the ugliest 'preferred headphones' I can think of.
