I own several different models and varying generations of Klipsch RP speakers, it would take a very specific use case for the 504c ii to be worth nearly double the price. This is a great deal for 95% of the performance.

Disagree as the 504 has been on sale here for $279-$300 and is MUCH better then the 404 in reproduction of male voices, it's not even a fair comparison. I have also owned many klipsh speakers, centers, etc and have had both the 40X series and the 50X series center to compare. The 50 series( aka 450 older version) is just all around better in voice reproduction. It's huge but if someone has the space for it, well worth it and costs minimally more.

1000% wait for the 504 II to come back in stock or buy a 504 I or buy a 450C....Very little differance in all three and most would not even hear a differance.

Superb speaker. Best price I've ever seen for it. Note that the 504C is significantly deeper than the 404C, and the 404C is much easier to position in most TV stands.

The specs says both Ebony and Walnut are the same dimensions. The image doesn't seem to reflect that

I haven't heard the 504c but I absolutely love my black 404c that I got for the same price a few months ago. Coming from a much smaller center channel, Its amazing that I can finally hear dialogue properly and I hear a bigger difference then the L and Rs I also upgraded to RPs, the 400 m ii.

100% no, it's going to sound 95% the same... They are basically the same uni with some slight (mostly klipsch marketing as there great at trying to get you to get the next version that has minimal differences) improvements to the horn.. for center channel sound it will sound the same!
