200 calories for just 15grams... They have no excuse to not be tasty with macros that bad

Agreed but I think other "soft" protein bars have similar macros. And they're, in fact, not that bad. The peanuts contribute to the calories a bit more than they need to but honestly these bars will sustain you pretty well and get the job done for the price. Bake your own dry bars if you want to lock in decent macros lmao

I wouldn't mind if they put a few grams of it but 10g is excessive. Why not just add in 3g of sugar like they do in peanut butter?

YMMV but I did not like these bars when I got them a few weeks ago.

I ordered these on sale a couple weeks ago. They are not great protein bars in taste or protein content.

The primary components are; a very chewy/gummy-like strip of nougat, flavorless chocolate coating, and unsalted peanuts...

FYI look at the %DV to calculate the amount of complete protein in these. Only 9g in the peanut and 8g in the almond. Not the best source of protein

The words "protein bar" are so misused lately lol this is a MRP bar (meal replacement). It's barely a balanced half of a meal, high on fat. Protein bar should be reserved for MOSTLY protein bars we use to supplement protein.

Protein powder is half the price and 50% more protein.

How anyone would pay more than a buck for any protein bar is mind-blowing

Ever tried carrying protein powder in your pocket?

"A generally recommended safe amount of erythritol is about 0.5 grams per kilogram of body weight per day. This means that a person who weighs 70 kilograms (about 154 pounds) could safely consume up to 35 grams of erythritol daily."

If you're gonna eat these things like candy, that's your problem, i'm not, probably one or two a day, easy purchase.

Not enough protein to warrant the fat and calories imo.
