You need the tidbits for a pizza, these would probably make the crust soggy

Gotta cut them in half. Pre-toast the crust if you like crispy crust. Also good for pineapple pie

I love pineapple but canned pineapple is terrible. I think the acid in pineapple juice pulls the tin flavor into the juice for a less than savory taste. They should try pouches like Starkist did with tuna.

Even with the discount, this is more expensive per ounce than the regular Dole pineapple, as it comes in smaller cans

I did a calculation and it came out to 083 per ounce on the Tropical Gold. Amazon is showing .08 per ounce on the regular 20 oz. pineapple cans, so it looks to be roughly the same.

I eat these with cottage cheese as my after meal desert. I also drink the juice, usually mixed/diluted with some other sugar free drink mix to give a hint of pinneapple flavor.

Good deal and a lot easier than cutting up a full pineapple. Canned not fresh is a negative but it should have great consistency plus it will always be on the shelf ready to use. Thanks Op!
