I'm glad the $4499 Costco deal did not make an appearance for Memorial Day weekend 😆

This is crazy! The lowest price for the DP3 was $2040, and that price was only available for a limited time. This has 2 DP3 for just $1800 each, plus the Hub.

China has 90% of currently mine able rare earth metals. They can produce enough batteries to take you across the galaxy hence why battery tech and prices are getting better.

Waiting for Na ion batteries. Could get as low as $10/kW.

Lithium Ion batteries don't use rare earth metals.

Shouldn't be $7k in the first place. Ridiculous price compared to other options like the Bluetti AC500.

actually it was lower than $2040.

for example, more than 4 months ago $1905.48:

so, it's about time this finally made a new low, except you have to pony up for two at a time to get this price.

Does Trump's tax cut proposal cut the tax rebate for this?

Not currently. As written the proposed bill eliminates it by year end.

8,000 Whr of battery is far far far from whole home back-up. We have 9,000 in Goal Zero Yeti. 2 x 6,000 and a 3, 000. Barely enough for two days refrigeration, internet and laptops. Must have a generator or you're screwed. Especially if on a well.
