An SSD with a heat sync would help this, assuming it fits.
Jeff Geerling on his youtube channel tried all of it. Heat sinks, taking the case off and blowing a big fan directly on it, dropping the nvme slot to gen 1 speeds from gen 3, etc, etc, etc.

Never got it to run right and not overheat the cpu or drives and still complete a nas benchmark that he tried.

Looks like a HW design issue not resolvable post-sales.

Shame, I was looking at one of them and buying a bunch of the fake reviews that aren't even for the same product, and that changed my mind.

I see Beelink has a new one for a bit more $ with 6 nvme drives, but it looks to me like there's no room in it for heat sinks and the airflow doesn't seem to look very good.

Seems a standard formula: Take too many hot components as possible and make sure the fan(s) and box are so small that it can't cool itself.

Rumors talk about N150's limited data rate and stuff. I'd second it, if we gonna put 4 ssd in and might not fully utilizing the speed.
It only has enough pcie lanes to give ONE to each drive.

But that's fine because just one or two drives with one lane each will flood the 2.5gb ethernet, unless you fiddle around with link aggregation.

At that point, the N150 is out of lanes between the drives and the ethernet ports going. Terrible performance.

N150 is a fine lowball low common denominator cpu. And it sucks trying to run a NAS with it, unless your performance needs are low.

I would get a Beelink ME mini over this. Better cooling of M.2 drives, 6x M.2 slots, and built in power supply. Cost is about the same as well.
