It has a 4.7/5 with 7100 reviews, but there are many reviews that mention double click.
You'll want one of their lineup that has a "Lightforce Hybrid Optical-Mechanical Switch".
  • G502 X PLUS
  • G502 X LIGHTSPEED
  • G502 X
They're going to be much more than this deal though.

Mine started double clicking after less than a year of use. Logitech sent me a new one and told me to keep it.

I bought a 502 X with the optical switches about a year ago. It didn't double click, but the scroll wheel got flaky on me. I will not spend that much on another one.

I like the G502 mice. I've tried a few other brands of mice and they have all eventually broken. I just accept that all mice will eventually break, so now I just keep a few new 502s on hand as spares. As soon as my current one starts double clicking, it goes in the trash and switch to one of my backups. Then I wait for a deal like this to get another backup.

I would guess that I've been through 5 of them in the last 10 years.

The normal wired G502 X (comparable to this deal) is regularly $50 and sometimes goes on sale for $40. It isn't that much of a difference if the better switches are valuable to you.

That said I used one of these for several years before the right click started being flaky. It's a great mouse and I think most people would be perfectly happy with it. Worst case you like it enough to upgrade when it conks out.

What is a good solid mouse that won't break the bank? The best i ever had was the one that came with my ACER Preditor PC. It lasted about 2 years before the wheel becam nochy. I have bought a few different mice on deals but have not like any of them that much. I currently have an EVGA X17 and it is fine except the wheel is getting nochy and sticky now and it has only been like 6 mopnths! Thanks

I am on my 4th one this exact same mouse. I found them on sale for under $20 once and bought 5 of them. I gave one away and am on my last one. 3 of them went to double clicking, and this last one I damaged the slider pads (skates?) I replaced the skates, and so far this one is still going. I love the feel of the mouse, the only thing that would make it better is if the mouse wheel was higher quality, and the switches did not die off so fast.

In a previous thread on these kinds of mice, someone swore that one way to fix the double click issue was to shake the hell out of the mouse for a full minute. Someone else chimed in and said that somehow it worked for them too.

Can't attest to it myself, just passing on what I read.

I had this exact model and it quickly developed the double click issue. Logitech support denied the warranty claim.

The D-pad on my Dualsesnse stopped working one day and that was also what I had to do to fix it lmao. I'm guessing some dust or whatever got between the pads on the inside.
I actually have a Proteus I've been using for like ten years and it still works perfectly, I even spilled coffee on it a couple of times.
