I like the G502 mice. I've tried a few other brands of mice and they have all eventually broken. I just accept that all mice will eventually break, so now I just keep a few new 502s on hand as spares. As soon as my current one starts double clicking, it goes in the trash and switch to one of my backups. Then I wait for a deal like this to get another backup.
I would guess that I've been through 5 of them in the last 10 years.

They're going to be much more than this deal though.That said I used one of these for several years before the right click started being flaky. It's a great mouse and I think most people would be perfectly happy with it. Worst case you like it enough to upgrade when it conks out.

Can't attest to it myself, just passing on what I read.
I actually have a Proteus I've been using for like ten years and it still works perfectly, I even spilled coffee on it a couple of times.
Weird, I had it warrantied, but it was a long process.
