Platinum Plus has replaced Platinum, unnoticeable difference in cleaning quality. This beats the current prices of Platinum Plus at Costco, Sam's and BJs. Good deal to stock up, though it's a smaller pack, per pod price for the win 🏆

Switched to the walmart powder, same as cascade powder, recently and it's way cheaper and works just as well as the pods did. Plus no microplastics!

Just ran out today, and thought "let me go check out SD for any deals".

Couldn't have been better timing.

177 pods of Platinum for $42 after S&S discount, multi-buy (Qty.3) $15 credit, and 30% coupon

I bought some in a pinch the other day, because it was so cheap. It was to bide me some time to find a good deal on Finish. The WM powder is like 1/4 the cost of most pods and cleans even better.
Are you referring to the Great Value Automatic Dishwasher Powder?

I can't remember the last time I used powder, but I'm willing to try again!

They still have Cascade Platinum, but the Cascade Platinum Plus has a "new & improved" version. Sam's Club sold both the original Platinum Plus and the "new & improved" version for a while. The "new & improved" version had "new & improved" stamped on the label and I think cost a bit more for a couple of less pods at Sam's when I bought them. People that tried the "new & improved" version said it worked better than the previous Platinum Plus.
That being said, the Platinum Plus (new & improved version) at Sam's right now for me is $19.98 for 82 pods through June 1. That's about 24 cents/pod.
This deal at Amazon, as posted, is for the "regular" Platinum and is $13.07 for 59 pods including a subscription. That's about 22 cents/pod.
For 2 cents more per pod, I'll take the latest Platinum Plus.

No micro plastics. The casing is made from starch.

I see neither 30% (25% for me), nor multibuy credit. Is it targeted? Do I need to order using the desktop version?

Edit to Add: I was on desktop when I made the below purchase, that might be your issue

Did you first click on the little box "Clip coupon" on the main product page? After that you want to select subscribe and save, and then confirm subscription. It comes up as its own unique order, even if you already have items in your cart. There was no shipping as a note, and I don't have prime fwiw, unsure why shipping was free for me. Below are the details:

Cascade Platinum Dishwasher Pods, Dishwasher Detergent, Dish Detergent Soap, Lemon, 59 Count

Item(s) Subtotal:
$18.64
Shipping & Handling:

just tried out the pods recently, and seem like they do a better job than regular dishwasher liquid.
They are known to reduce the dishwasher's life leaving lot of residue.

Someone posted on of this guys videos on another thread about this packs. His videos are great. Highly recommend. TLDR: the packs skip the prewash cycle and are less effective and more expensive than powder detergent. https://youtu.be/Ll6-eGDpimU?si=me3sRN7cNEYBo17X

I watched a deep dive video on YouTube about this. The gels don't really do much and Walmart powder was just as effective if not more. Also, when you find out that great value is really just a Rebrand of a name brand, you start wondering why you're paying for a name.
