I can't remember the last time I used powder, but I'm willing to try again!
That being said, the Platinum Plus (new & improved version) at Sam's right now for me is $19.98 for 82 pods through June 1. That's about 24 cents/pod.
This deal at Amazon, as posted, is for the "regular" Platinum and is $13.07 for 59 pods including a subscription. That's about 22 cents/pod.
For 2 cents more per pod, I'll take the latest Platinum Plus.

I watched a deep dive video on YouTube about this. The gels don't really do much and Walmart powder was just as effective if not more. Also, when you find out that great value is really just a Rebrand of a name brand, you start wondering why you're paying for a name.
