Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
So looks like this company plays the raise prices just before a sale and then drop them to make the sale percentage look higher then it actually is game. Hard pass.

This company? It's Epson. They are well known in the projector/printer market. Taking a look at the history, it looks like it started at 650, so not a huge savings, but better than their starting price. For a mini, projector that does 1080 at 1,000 lumens I'd say it isn't bad. Sucks there are only 10 reviews and a bunch of them are the vine free reviews though.

This company you mean the seller Amazon? I think it's fairly established that their list prices are inflated.
This is the ef11 in a new body with HDR10, HLG, and Google TV. Not a terrible price, but the ef11 can be had for quite a bit less if you don't need the smart functionality and dynamic range

add 200 bucks you can get LG CineBeam Q which is a decent 4K projector
This is a laser projector which offers several advantages over standard ones. You get much higher contrast ratios, comparable to plasma and OLED when used with the proper screens. And it's much brighter, allowing you to watch in a dimly lit room. Finally, lasers tend to run cooler than comparable LEDs, and much much cooler than halogen bulbs. That means easier placement and less can noise.
