I am a Milwaukee fan boy but this tool, not the fuel version is the only tool to ever fail on me. I bought it off of eBay from a hardware store and Milwaukee would not warranty it due to not an authorized dealer. I now have the fuel version and it works great.

I have had different experiences, I have two of these and abuse the crap out of them for 2 years and they still work great, the fuel has a very annoying auto shutoff when it starts to over heat which seemed to happen frequently for me, like every 5-10 minutes of continuous use.

Milwaukee has also never had an issue warranting my tools, they never even ask for a proof of purchase, they always just go by the date code on the actual tool.
