If your project is big don't waste time using a 9" roller. Use an 18" roller and paint tray using this specific frame and cut down a threaded wood handle to about 30-36" (or shorter if in a tight hallway) and roll away. For ceilings or tall walls use a separate 60" handle. The roller frame below will last years and will make larger projects easier.
