I think it would work cooler but really 32 gigs is all you need. To be honest ddr5 for some reason seems to be going cheaper in my opinion.
Is this a better deal? Same capacity, CL16 vs CL18, slightly cheaper? Don't @ me, I'm still learning. Is this a Toyota (GSkill) vs Acura (Corsair) difference?

I believe the consensus is 2 is better than 4, primarily due to the reduced strain on the CPU's memory controller, easier troubleshooting, and potentially higher achievable memory speeds. I have four 16 gigs sticks and mine runs perfectly fine

I do not like messing with overclocking ram because I do not like constantly clearing cmos when my new ram timings won't post. Even if these are samsung or micron B or E die, your mobo might not be able to handle the OC voltage or timing.
