Not sure why I thought this, but wasn't aware you actually had to own the games to play them… figured this was more like Xbox game pass.
Wait why did they make it only 100 hours per month? That's new.

I guess it varies.

I was in the alpha for GeForce now, and the current iteration is great- practically flawless over ethernet and a decent pipe. I currently have the founder's membership and play at 4K rtx typically. Most games get 70+fps at "ultra" settings. Tweaking the settings can be uhh fun? Either way it's a good deal if you wanna dip into the game streaming pool.

GeForce now's only problem is game availability, which wasn't a problem in the beginning. The service itself is great imo. Wish they'd just tell the devs to kick rocks and run "anything steam or epic" like they did in the start.

I took advantage of a similar deal about one year ago. I was able to play AAA games in my Steam library on my Chromebook and older PC without a dedicated graphics card. It took a little setting up at first but ran very well (I used both ethernet and Wi-Fi connections). I've since upgraded to a gaming PC with RTX 4060 that plays my games fine, so I think I will pass on this deal now, but it was fun playing my games on devices I thought it would be impossible to use.

Is it possible to stack this? I wasn't able to find out where, so I presume the answer is no

They changed it a few months ago, iirc it was to prevent some sort of abuse of the service. Fwiw unless you're unemployed it'd be pretty tough to hit that playtime cap, you could play a 3 hour session literally every day in a 30 day span and still have 10 hours leftover lol. IMO if you're spending that much time gaming then that you'd be better off saving your money to buy a dedicated rig to have a better experience for all those hours gaming.

Yeah I really wish I could play Uncharted or TLoU, I don't understand why those aren't supported.

Gigabit fiber now, but I had like 150 combat garbage and it still worked fine. Beat all three dark souls games on it while watching my infant daughter while she slept.

Your guess is as good as mine. I can't understand why anyone wouldn't just allow someone to play a game they paid for on a platform they also pay for. I get it if you're Sony or Microsoft and you're hocking consoles-but pc games? Cmon man. After I buy a product I should be able to do whatever I want with it within reason and playing on a cloud service surely falls into that category

150 works fine for me.
