The handle is only held in place with a single screw that you tighten yourself. They include a screw driver with the pan for some reason. The threading tends to get stripped over time, especially on the 12" pan.

Heat will turn the bottom of the handle near where it attaches to the pan green too.Inside the pan starts to streak brown too - I only use wood utensils and wash thoroughly with gentle soaps and non-abrasive sponges but I'm unable to reverse this. These look nice but I'm unimpressed with the quality.

I didnt buy it at $25. I was gifted them from someone who bought them at full price. She and I both expected higher quality - not bad deterioration within a year.

I have a set of Carote "granite"/ceramic nonstick pots and pans from Walmart. They look nice and are incredibly nonstick. With the lack of teflon for peace of mind, I enjoy using them to cook dishes with minimal oil. While you can fry eggs on it with no oil, they will take on a uniform "baked" appearance which is unappealing and also lacks the flavor of being fried in fat. Due to how nonstick the surface is, oil will slide around and not distribute evenly. If you just want a nonstick pan to fry eggs in, stick with cast iron. If you do stir-frying, one of these pans is phenomenal for that.
I saw a comment talking about heat affecting the handle. I use a glasstop stove so heat doesn't reach the handles, and they've held up fine after months of near-daily use. I imagine a gas stove would cause the handles to deteriorate rapidly due to the way heat creeps up the sides. The handles are coated with something and will flake off if abused, but they are quite smooth and sturdy otherwise, being of decent thickness.
